Viking Crown - Banished Rhythmic Hate

Viking Crown is an obscure project of Phil Anselmo, also featuring his ex-wife Opal Enthroned and Killjoy of Necrophagia.
This is the second and last Viking Crown full-length album.
The nature of this project makes it very inaccesible; some parts sounds like they were recorded with a cell phone in a cave. Even the most elitist fanatics of "kvlt" black metal don't often forgive the production of this.
So, for tasteful minorities:

Vreid - Kraft

Some of you may have of Windir, a black metal band from Norway led by Valfar, that features characteristic beautiful melodies in its sound.
Vreid is where the majority of Windir's musicians left to when Valfar sadly left this world and Windir came to a premature end.
Needless to say, Vreid features excellent quality melodic black metal unlike any other.

Brujeria - Matando Güeros

This is the first album released by Mexican death metal/grindcore band Brujeria.
Although this band is by no means famous, it has become quite notorious for their lyrics, among other things.
The lyrics, as well as the cover of this album (which depicts a real severed head, with the booklet including pictures of the rest of the body [presumably destroyed by a grenade or otherwise dismembered and showing third-degree burns]), have got this group's albums banned from dozens of countries.
While the band became less extreme with the years, this album still contains explicit descriptions of ritual murder, rape, necropedophilia, drug smuggling, drug abuse, and racism against white people.
Another factor that made these lyrics seem much more extreme was the fact that in 1989, 4 years prior to this release, a cult was discovered and caught in Mexico, which was proved to engage in torture, human sacrifice, production and distrubution of cocaine, and hold occult ceremonies to offer "blessings" to politicians and celebrities, among others, for a price. That last practice is not so rare from religious groups based in Yoruba mythology.
The media reported that the cult consisted of Satanists, which of course caused mass hysteria in a 98.5% catholic country, but in fact, it's much more likely that the cult practiced a form of Santería or Palo Mayombe; perhaps a combination of the two, or otherwise another Yoruba belief system.

Further reading can be found here.

Brujeria probably use lyrics about Satan worship to exploit that national scandal more than anything, even if it's clear that the cult wasn't Satanic, and this has payed off as they have received some media coverage, being called a "morally dangerous" musical alingment, among other nonsense.

Although numerous translations exist, most are Google translations.
Instead, you can go here and take a look at translations posted by your humble author, whose native language is spanish.

Dorso - Disco Blood

Greetings, reading ones.
Today I bring you a release very far away from the mainstream. This is Disco Blood by Chilean metal band Dorso.
Dorso is one of the oldest metal bands in Chile, and quite possibly the most respected. Staying true to their style and never selling out from 1984 to this day. Their lyrics are often sung in spanglish and cover subjects of gore, sex and monsters with an overly humorous tone, and the music is typically a form of thrash metal with elements of the progressive, death metal, avant-garde and the occasional acoustic.
This album in particular features some of the best riffs I've heard in a while.
Judge for yourself, support the kvlt bands.
